During the latest earthquake emergencies in Italy, the need to re-create the minimum level of infrastructure and public services in the immediate aftermath of the disaster became obvious. This minimum level of infrastructure and public services includes the availability of Police posts, to maintain law and order in the affected territory.
Based on the above premises, the Italian Police started a project for the acquisition of mobile system carried on board 2,5 tone mobile trailers, fully equipped and carrying all that is necessary to set up a temporary Police post. The basic infrastructure is made of one exoskeleton tent size 6x6 m.
The supply tender was awarded in late 2020 by TELEGI srl. acting as main contractor. Our LANCO RDT 36 tent was selected for the application.
In April 2021, the supply has been ready for tests and delivery. RDT 36 tents have been successfully tested and well appreciated by the candidate users.
